Problem description You are using MoneyWiz Premium. You are using online bank sync. You checked the online bank statements, it has latest posted transactions. MoneyWiz does not have the latest transactions, despite repeat sync. Or weirdly in one of my case, one transaction in the middle of month goes missing. Solutions Method 1 - Contact support Method 2 ( refer to MoneyWiz support section for specific steps ) Do a backup. Edit the connection and disconnect , retain all data! Now re-connect back. You may have to re-enter all the credentials again. Sync again and hope it works :) Method 3(after trying Method 2) Do a backup. Edit the connection and disconnect, retain all data! Many years back, Quicken is one of popular options beside Microsoft Money. I stayed with Quicken for many years. However, you can only connect to USA banks and you have to get a newer Quicken after a few years(their sunset policy). Since the transactions are entered manually, once a while, the balance does not adds up and I spent a long time figuring out missing transactions. I came across MoneyWiz2. Not only there are platform support for Android and IOS, there is Windows and Mac too. Having the ability to use my smartphone to enter my expenses was cool, but in another post, I will mention those issues. Quicken files are supported for import but I ran to issues, something related with Quicken date format. Finally, I scrapped the idea of importing years of Quicken historical data  and decided to manually import 1 year of data using a manually prepared CSV file. Since then, I am stuck with MoneyWiz.

I have been using MoneyWiz for almost 2 years. Recently SilverWiz closed their MoneyWiz reddit. Before that, they shutdown their forum a year before. Of course, there are still Facebook,Twitter abut it is much easier to search user comments on forums and reddit. Using this blog, I hope to share some of useful tips when using MoneyWiz.
